Thanks for your question. I know that some citizen science groups in Belgium have heard of Safecast but it’s hard to say if Safecast had a direct influence on these groups. I think a lot can be learned by comparing citizen responses to crises – whether imminent or longlasting. This is a good place to start: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-018-07106-5
